Some modifications were made to the original GNU Public License concerning the right to obtain the source code of computer programs. Especially, all rights on the Rismo2D source code are left to the original copyright holder.

Any person, organisation or research institution, further refered to as “Developer”, who is in interest to enhance the Rismo2D source code may write to and contract with the original copyright holder. The contract's goal is to specify the conditions for appreciation and distribution of the Developers enhancements. In brief, the Developer obtains a copy of the original Rismo2D source code free of charge. But, the Developer will gain no permission to redistribute a modificated version of the Rismo2D program, neither in compiled nor in source code form. These restrictions on the Rismo2D source code have the intention to provide one validated unique version, that is available for all users.
